Using photography in a website re-launch for nonprofit branding firm

Recently I helped branding agency Red Rooster Group with their own re-launch of their website. They needed new photos for a fresh new look to their site and I was happy to deliver more lifestyle shots and portraits of the staff in action. The very talented staff were easy-going and I enjoyed getting creative with the team!

Ad Campaign for Classic Harbor Line | Jason Gardner Photography

Sailing around Manhattan at sunset? Yes please! I shot an ad campaign for tour and event company Classic Harbor Line. It was promoting their sunset cruises around Manhattan. What a cool way to "escape the city without leaving it." The photos are all around Manhattan and Brooklyn in bus shelters, tent poles and phone booths as you can see from the photos below. NY Historical Society: Picasso's "Le Tricorne" Installation Timelapse

The time-lapse I shot and edited for New-York Historical Society is now live on their site! I had the wonderful opportunity to document the installation of Picasso's "Le Tricorne" - a roughly 20 foot square curtain painted by Picasso for the backdrop of a ballet in 1919.  I was honored to be a part of this artistic history, and it was fascinating to document the whole process of delivery, art handling, and installation, including a huge crane lifting the artwork over 35 feet to the second floor of the museum! This time-lapse includes at least seven different takes on the installation! Enjoy!

"A Flower in the Mouth" at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

Images from my series A Flower in the Mouth were exhibited as part of the Cultural Exchange Pavillion - Casa do Brasil, at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in the spring. 

It's always been a dream of mine to be involved with Jazz Fest, and I wanted to share this experience with as many people as possible! I was at Jazz Fest both weekends, which was an incredible experience! Thank you to all who came by!

Also, I had the opportunity to speak at the panel "Portraits of Popular Culture in Brazil,"  on Saturday, May 3rd

This exhibition and opportunity was truly humbling and it was incredible to be surrounded by other like minded creatives. What a dream come true!

A Flower in the Mouth Book Launch in São Paulo

Here's some images from the official launch of my photo book in São Paulo, Brazil, about the Carnival rituals in Pernambuco, northeastern Brazil. Thanks to everyone who came out to support! I loved sharing my ideas with you. 

Jewish Education Project | Jason Gardner Photo

The Jewish Education Project is a non-profit organization which is trying to revolutionize the approach to the jewish education. Their mission statement reads:

"At The Jewish Education Project, we connect forward-thinking educators and volunteer leaders in order to spark new ideas and approaches to Jewish education. We provide tools, resources, and technology to spread those new ideas, which impact the education of more than 200,000 Jewish children, teens and families. We partner with educators and volunteer leaders who represent 800 New York educational institutions."
